We have just obtained discounted fares for the transportation of members of the Haptics Symposium community from/to Houston airports to/from the downtown area.

A group discount of $2 one way and $4 round trip is now available over the regular rates on vans, and $5 one way and $10 round trips on the luxury cars, if you feel fancy :)

Please check our "getting around" page for updated hotel accommodation information. We have secured a block of rooms at another hotel at a discounted rate that can be easily reached from the conference venue by METRORail.

We have learned that the DoubleTree and nearby hotels are booking up quickly (some are already full). Please see our "Getting Around" page for information on Houston's light rail, walking maps to the DoubleTree from the nearest station, and suggestions of other areas of town to check for hotel availability.
