We have posted a preliminary version of the full oral presentation schedule for the 2014 IEEE Haptics Symposium. It includes forty-one Haptics Symposium papers and extended abstracts in a single track of sessions. Please note that exact session times and presentation order may be adjusted.

Each of the six sessions covers a unified theme and will be chaired by a pair of experienced haptics researchers. Long oral presentations are 15 minutes, and short oral presentations are 10 minutes, including time for questions from the audience. The list also identifies the eight papers that have been selected as candidates for the Best Paper Award, based on the strength of their reviews.

As a preview of the program, we have posted a list of all papers and extended abstracts that were accepted for presentation at the 2014 IEEE Haptics Symposium. The title, author list, contribution type, and presentation format are all provided. This is a great way to get a sense of the quality, depth, and breadth of the research that will be presented at the conference. Enjoy!

PCS Now Open for Final Paper Submission

The Haptics Symposium PCS website is now open for final submissions. Authors of accepted Papers and Extended Abstracts should submit the final pdf of their contribution, along with digest materials, optional video and associated files, and the IEEE electronic copyright form, by midnight on December 15. For additional details, please see the Final Submission Instructions, Detailed File Preparation Guidelines, and PCS Submission Website. We look forward to receiving all of the final Papers and Extended Abstracts!
